到國外唸書使用的名字 - 文化差異

後年預計到法國念書，
但是爬了文還是有一些疑惑，
如果我的護照只是加簽別名（本名是超級菜市場的Yi-Ting，但別名要用日文名Sora）
這樣我到法國去老師會怎麼稱呼我？
雖然我還是很喜歡我的中文名字，
但是變成拼音前就已經是會讓人搞不清楚是不是在叫自己的菜市場名了
（從小到大同班同學音近的就已經夠多了）
去掉聲調以後甚至還比較像Eating...(也已經有高中同學綽號就乾脆叫這個)
日文名則是真的用習慣了不想另取不習慣的外文名
如果我用加簽別名的方式，未來國外的畢業證書會只有本名嗎？
信用卡、租約上的名字可以只寫Sora嗎？
另外我的日文名字是否需要把R換成L方便歐美日各國至少都會發得正確？
