CUSTOMER UPDATE STATEMENT FROM TIGER AIRWAYS AUSTRALIA
Melbourne, 15 Jul 2011 - Tiger Airways Australia has reaffirmed its
commitment to the Australian market and reassured the Australian Competition
and Consumer Commission (ACCC) of the same.
Tiger Airways is providing full and automatic refunds to those passengers
whose travel was booked between 2 Jul 2011 and 31 Jul 2011 inclusively.
只要是買了七月二號到三十一號澳洲國內班機的旅客,虎航將會自動退款
Tiger Airways will to the best of its endeavours process all customer refunds
within 20 business days (from 8 Jul 2011) to the original form of payment and
waive any associated call centre charges for flights cancelled in July 2011.
退款將會盡可能的在二十天內完成,如果是使用電話退款也不會收取額外的手續費
(還敢收人家手續費喔....)
Tiger Airways has also put in place effective measures to satisfactorily
manage any further (but as yet undetermined) passenger disruption beyond 31
Jul 2011.
For customers who have booked travel between 1 Aug 2011 and 31 Aug 2011
inclusive and would like to change their travel plans due to this possible
uncertainty, Tiger Airways will offer a credit refund for the full value of
the booking which will be valid for six months. Alternatively Tiger Airways
will provide a full refund to the original form of payment.
如果有買八月一號到八月三十一號間的旅客,(因為我們也不知道能不能飛),
也是可以退費的
All of the above options will be available from now until seven days after
Tiger Airways resumes sales for its Australian domestic services. For
customers who wish to retain their reservations with Tiger Airways no action
is required and the airline will contact them in due course to reconfirm
their flight schedules.
當虎航恢復澳洲國內航線後一個禮拜,上面所有的退費方式將被取消
(就是說等可以飛的時候,我就不退你錢啦!!!)
Tiger Airways customers should contact the airline via the Customer Service
Portal or else contact the customer contact centre on 03 9999 2888. If
customers wish to register the above service request via the online Customer
Service Portal then please lodge the claim under the
Refund request category and select AUS Flight Suspension as the request type,
so that their request can be processed more quickly.
While safety underpins our operations at all times, Tiger Airways aims to
resolve CASA's concerns and resume services by 1 Aug 2011 or earlier.

Passengers are advised to monitor the website as it will be updated regularly
throughout the week with further updates from Tiger Airways Australia.
