ABC disappeared..why? - 舊金山

這是我剛剛收到的ABC的email, 很多人都發生類似問題

1. If rescanning is missing one or more channels (this is often Channel 7):

· Try unplugging the converter box or digital TV with tuner; wait a
couple of minutes, plug back in and re-scan.

· Try unplugging the antenna, rescan and then plug back in antenna
and rescan.

(Some converter boxes and TV tuners are hanging up especially on channel 7
and unplugging clears the system, similar to rebooting a computer.)



2. A lot of people with indoor antennas are having problems receiving one or
more stations:

· Try moving the indoor antenna near a window or door. (Moving the
antenna around is solving a lot of problems.)

· If the antenna is amplified, try unplugging the antenna from the
wall. Some are over amplifying, especially if the home is near Sutro.

· If the antenna is unamplified and you have tried everything above
they may need an amplified antenna or an outdoor antenna.
