DS 260 勾選同時申請SSN的問題 - 移民

各位前輩好

表格DS 260其中關於是否同時申請SSN這題

看網友分享如果勾選YES，順利的話入境美國一兩週就會收到SSN
但也有網友分享SSN被卡很久
建議這題勾選No，直接自己跑Social Security Office 很快就辦下來了

我們想盡快拿到SSN但又擔心這題選不好，會否面試出什麼問題，或是反而更晚拿到ＳＳ

1）請問前輩建議這一題應該如何選？
或有網友最近跑過流程，可分享進度嗎～

2）如果預約去office辦理是否只能預約1-2週以後的時間？
還是可以walk in 辦理呢？

3）另外在填表時＆Review時候發現有落差：

問題一：Have you ever applied for a Social Security number?
Yes/ No

問題二：Do you authorize disclosure of information from this form to the Depar
tment of Homeland Security, the Social Security Administration, and such other
U.S. Government agencies as may be required for the purposes of assigning you
a social security number (SSN) and issuing you a Social Security card and do
you authorize the Social Security Administration to share your SSN with the De
partment of Homeland Security?
Yes/ No

第一題選No, 第二題不論選Yes or No,
最後在全部Review的時候都會冒出新的一題，而且直接顯示勾選YES：
Do you want the Social Security Administration to issue a Social Security numb
er and a card?
強制顯示ＹＥＳ，而且是不能更改的。
這樣如果問題二勾ＮＯ, 自己跑辦公室辦理ssn會有問題嗎？
