The National Visa Center (NVC) received all the requested documentation for
this immigrant visa case. The applicant is now in the queue awaiting an
interview appointment overseas, where a consular officer will adjudicate the
applicant’s visa application.
The U.S. Embassy tells us what dates they are holding interviews, and NVC
fills these appointments as they become documentarily qualified. However,
before applicants in a numerically limited (preference) visa category can
receive an appointment, their priority date must also be current. This can
delay receipt of an appointment.

2022 Oct 2: second expedite request
2022 Oct 4: "We previously sent your request to the U.S. Embassy or
Consulate in TAIWAN. However, they cannot expedite this case."

2022 Oct 26 (morning): CEAC system: "In Transit"
Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was
provided to you by the National Visa Center.

(weird, haven't seen "Document Qualified notice")

They put me into administrative processing and asked for more documents.
Submission via email only.

The notice from AIT：

Your visa application has been denied under Section 221(g) of the United
States Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) due to required additional
administrative processing.

So, my major is chemical engineering. It is very sensitive to naitonal security.
They usualy do adminidtrative processing on like F1 visa
or any other type of visa.
We, chemical engineering student, are familiar with AP...

I emailed the consulate for follow up once every two weeks and also use the app.

2022 Jan 03 Tue 8 pm (Taipei time) Email to AIT.

I have seen many people have similar experience.
The story is always like this. They email the consulate about the status.
Next day, they see it is issued. Is it possible they would process
those inquiries firstly?

2022 Jan 05 Thur 930 am (Taipei time) Get AIT email.
"Your immigration visa was issued. Your passport and visa package have sent
to the delivery hope you will receive them soon."

2022 Jan 06 Fri 1030 am (Taipei time) Packgages delievered by SF Express from
AIT. Charged for NTD 320. Delivery address is in souhtern Taiwan.

2022 Jan 06 Fri 11 am (Taipei time) Online payment for USCIS
"You successfully paid the USCIS Immigrant Fee on Thursday, January 5th, 2023"

2022 Jan 17 Tue 6 pm (West coast time) SFO. I was waiting in the line of
permanent resident. Admitted with stamp. One year valid period for the stamp.
Officer took the yellow packet and confirmed with me the mailing address
printed on this yellow packet. Also ask for my mobile number for data input.

2022 Feb 02 USCIS IOE receipet number status check: card is being produced.

2022 Feb 06 "We mailed your new card for your Form OS155A, Immigrant
Visa and Alien Registration, Receipt Number IOExxxxxxxxx."

2022 Feb 07 USCIS Ask Emma Online live chat. Got USPS tracking number.

2022 Feb 07 5:51 pm USPS: Accepted at USPS Origin Facility, CORBIN, KY 40701

2023 Feb 08 10:29 pm Arrived at USPS Regional Destination Facility SAN

有幾個地方可以做得更好

一拿到繳費通知 Sept 1 我就應該馬上去繳費 傻傻等公司弄流程
加上後來遇到繳費網站故障 這就拖了我19天

另外不知道為什麼中間被加速了 之前看審核文件至少要兩個月三個月

但我很快就被審查完畢 立刻也被安排面試時間 而沒有document qualified的通知


此外有一個特別的點 CEAC網站也就是填寫DS260有要求繳交civil documents

CEAC內的地址跟 一般公眾可以查到的地址不一樣

當時我猶豫寄哪個 公司律師要我直接寄CEAC上面的地址

不知道是不是這個地址的收件量比較少 然後就比較快(?) (這無法查證 一切運氣)

不然以我的case應該要等兩個月文件審查 也就是Nov 19才會有通知

這是NVC上面公告的timeline


另外建議大家一回台灣就先去台安醫院(免預約)體檢 否則萬一確診之後還必須隔離幾天

才能出門體檢
