Monash homestay與在外租屋的選擇 - 紐澳

我妹今年2月要去Monash university(clayton campus) 讀大一
現在在猶豫是否要住homestay or 在外租屋
homestay的優點是 可以更加了解當地民情 也可以多練習conversation
不過相對來說一周要300$AUD,而且離學校較遠
如果選擇在校附近租屋 可能就便宜的多 大概150~200$AUD
另外如果與大陸人同租 有什麼忌諱嗎?
懇請各位給點意見~感謝
