This is in Powai, a very good neighborhood, more expensive, newly developed.
It is a area with relative high concentration of foreigners.

However, this area is in a small enclave in the norther suburb.
It is far away from the real "Mumbai" tourists go (in the south.)
You will have a pretty good life if you live and work there,
but transportation to other part of town will be relatively difficult.
I believe only rickshaws and buses are available.

Don't worry about that. You can find tissues anywhere in Mumbai.
Some foreigners only drink bottled water.
I've drunk tap water for a couple months (by accident) without problem.
Usually people buy gallons of filter/bottle water, or install Aquaguard.

I don't use contact lenses, but that wouldn't be a issue either.
