地球科學（包括工程地質、大地測量、地震學、地球物理學）及環境科學（包
括環境分子生物技術、環境分子生態與生態工程、生質能源與生物能源、生物
地球化學、環境微生物、環境分析化學）等領域之博士學位，以環境科技方法
應用於地球科學研究方面有傑出成果，並能從事大學部及研究所課程之授課者，

FACULTY POSITIONS in Earth and Environmental Sciences, Taiwan.

The Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences in National Chung
Cheng University seeks applicants for four to six faculty positions
in the disciplines of earth and environmental sciences. Areas of spe-
cific interest in fields include engineering geology, seismology,
environmental geophysics, geodesy/remote sensing, environmental micr-
obiology, biogeochemistry, environmental (analytical) chemistry,
ecological engineering and bio(mass) energy. Scientists with experie-
nces in applying the techniques of molecular biology and/or geophysics
to the study on geo-scientific and environmental problems are preferred.

Successful candidates will have an outstanding research record in their
discipline and a strong commitment to teaching and thesis advising. The
appointment can be at any level including full professor. The date of
appointment is expected to start from February 1, 2006 or August 1, 2006.
