使用Booking.com遇到 - 香港

想請教大家
今天下午我用Booking.com 訂房 總房價HKD1,550
網頁有註明"稍後付款.&.入住2天前可免費取消"

後來信用卡公司簡訊通知我有消費TWD3,280
因為不知道這筆錢是訂金還是什麼
就跟飯店確認是不是當天入住時再補差額就好
結果飯店人員回我以下內容

Dear Madam,

Thank you for your email.

On your credit card, we just get the authorization, that was not yet charged.

We will charge the full payment when you check in,

And the authorize will be cancel after you settle the payment.

Thanks.


意思是當天還要付全額? 那3280那筆是什麼?
有人遇到這樣的狀況嗎
