不像夏至冬至直接看日晷就知道哪一天太陽最南，日照最短，
每年同一時間的氣溫也不會完全一樣，
兩千年前發明24節氣的古代人如何經過統計資料知道大寒這時候最冷？
那時候沒有溫度計，而且體感溫度又受濕度及風速影響，
古人要怎樣記錄溫度呢？
