泰國警方接獲情資顯示，有武裝組織計畫10月25日-10月30日間在首都曼谷附近發動汽車
炸彈攻擊，宣布將加強地標及機場週邊戒備。當地警察和軍方將設立檢查站對所有進出機
場的車輛進行檢查，交通可能因此發生延誤情形，曼谷機場管理局建議旅客，未來幾周前
往曼谷機場需預留更多時間抵達目的地。

泰國政府當局開始加強首都保安，普密蓬大橋、歷史古城Ancient Siam、鱷魚農場、Chan
g Erawan和位於北欖府的曼谷機場都有可能成為攻擊目標。除了曼谷機場，當局亦提升旅
遊景點、外國大使館、交通樞紐和其他具有象徵意義地點的保安。額外的保安措施不大可
能顯著影響商業活動，但可能出現部分地區道路關閉，導致交通擁塞。

Authorities have increased security on all major roadways leading to Suvarnabh
umi International Airport (BKK) as part of a wider measures introduced followi
ng an intelligence report of possible car bombings in the Bangkok Metropolitan
Region Oct. 25-30. Local police and soldiers have reportedly set up checkpoin
ts for all vehicles entering and exiting the airport. Due to the likelihood of
traffic disruptions and delays, the Suvarnabhumi Airport Authority advised pa
ssengers to allow additional time for traveling to the airport and arrive earl
y for their departures in the coming weeks.

Officials began intensifying security in the capital after the report named Bh
umibol Bridge, Ancient Siam, Crocodile Farm, Chang Erawan, and Suvarnabhumi Ai
rport in Samut Prakan as potential targets. In addition to BKK, authorities ha
ve also increased security at tourist attractions, foreign embassies, transpor
t hubs, and other symbolic places in Bangkok and Samut Prakan. Although the Sa
mut Prakan police chief disputed the authenticity of the leaked memo, the nati
onal police deputy commissioner has claimed the memo is genuine.

The additional security measures are unlikely to significantly affect business
operations. Security scares may prompt localized restrictions and/or evacuati
ons, as law enforcement will be hypervigilant to threats. However, disruptions
will likely be brief. Heightened security may also result in periodic road cl
osures, especially around sensitive sites. These impediments will increase tra
ffic congestion, but detours will be available.

Advice

Plan accordingly for processing and security screenings; allow additional time
for travel. Carry official identification at all times. Heed all instructions
from security personnel. Remain calm and nonconfrontational, and comply with
authorities' directions.
