government's policy offers multi-national companies a lot benefits to set up
regional hub here. Language and system follow British way/standard is another
incentive as well.

Language ability wise, my experience shows me either English / Chinese
they conduct at work, just at OK level, can't count as pretty in general.

Language and culture norm are related to each other,
if Singaporean in general are not good in either, it leads to lack of culture.

I didn't study in Singapore, but it looks like they read a lot of Chinese/
Engish materials at school but in real life not much spiritual value
implimented, their value comes from families, so they are practical and at
the same time don't think out of the box as much as Taiwanese people do.
If this counts as part of so called culture.

As this is the successful way to survive in this society.

Singaporeans are proud and lost in their identity if you get to know them
better, part of the ego comes from low self-esteem as their grand parents
are working class, but proud at the same time they made this country so
successful in terms of $, but no one would tell you they feel HAPPY as
not spiritual being appreciated.

This is common in HK/TW as well, but even worst here in SIN.
