有關於此次颱風對台北風力之影響？ - 颱風討論

家裡念小學的小朋友對颱風很好奇，問他老爸:「這次颱風我們這(台北)會像上次(指蘇力
)颳很大的強風嗎?」
他老爸回：「不會，你看一下這個預測圖，這個圈圈就是暴風圈，被掃到的會有狂風暴雨
的機會，但是在圈圈外的通常只會下雨，風有一點點，但不會刮啦，也不會放假，尤其你
看，這離我們這麼遠，風怎麼會吹得上來？」
「那甚麼颱風會讓台北颳大風？」
「強烈颱風，從西北方向從宜蘭上面穿過去，風就會從淡水河往陸地上吹，就會很強，其
他方向因為中央山脈或雪山山脈會擋住，台北是盆地，四周都有山擋住，吹不到甚麼風的
。」
感覺回答就是有似是而非教錯小孩的樣子(但我也好不到哪去，就也不便多說)
不過這樣的認知好像很多一般民眾真的都如此覺得...
尤其是第一點，印象中像天兔這種路徑的颱風，扣掉東北季風共伴效應的因素外，對北部
帶來風力的影響應該是不會很大的？不知道有沒有專業大大可以解釋一下？
