為何空氣膨脹,溫度就會下降? - 地球科學討論

空氣受熱->體積膨脹->密度變小->空氣上升->外界氣壓變小->
為了平衡空氣內外壓力->空氣體積膨脹->空氣溫度下降->水汽易飽和->水汽凝結而降雨

想請問大家為什麼空氣體積膨脹,空氣的溫度就會下降?
我有上網去查,
有人說是因為空氣中的分子數不變,但空氣體積膨脹,分子間距離拉大,
彼此發生碰撞的機會降低,較不易產生熱,故溫度會下降
不知道這樣的說法到底對不對?
請版上各位高手告訴我正確的觀念,謝謝~
