租屋處房間不得上鎖 ??? - 紐澳

其中第六項:
Door locks and keys
The resident has a right to a reasonably secure room.
If there are problems with the lock on the door or the keys,
the resident should speak to the provider/agent.
The resident should not try to change the lock to their door or damage
it in any way. The resident also must not make copies of their keys
without asking the provider/agent.

可以要求有鎖,沒鎖的話要徵求同意換鎖免得被說是破壞房子而被要求賠償

但這是在合法簽約租屋下可行,
我就不是很清楚要是那種sunnybank附近很多是私人分租房間的
房東房租收cash也沒報稅的 願不願意承認租屋法規就是了~
