when i was in australia, i earned AUD 900~1250 before taxed per week.
i met some friends earned the same like me or even more.
on the other side, i still met a lot of people couldn't find any job
and had to go back taiwan.
or earned only 90 per week.
i don't know your situation and have no idea how good your english is,either.
but it doesn't matter.
the point is how brave you are not how good your english is.
if the only reason to come to australia is making money,
i will recommend you stay in tiawan.

as the recession shook australia, lots of mining company shut down.
what came after was lots of job seekers in australia
and most of them were local guys. they occupied most vacancies.

you still get chance to earn good money, but the chance is
smaller than the time I was.
if you wanna see the other country, wanna learn english,
wanna experience different life.
australia is a good place.
if you ONLY wanna earn money, sorry, you will be dispointed.

the last, don't think i saveed good money there.
i spent 1.5 years there and only worked for 10 months.
the rest of 8 months i was traveling.
