關於預報 - 颱風討論

有個小問題想請教專業的大家
據我所知，颱風的預報結果來自數值天氣預報模式
這套系統應該各國用的差不多
各國預報結果的差別應該在於 initial conditions 及選用的物理模式
(當然它很複雜)
台灣附近海水溫度等天氣的條件應該是台灣本身資料最充足
是否中央氣象局的預測結果應該較各國準確??
(我比較難相信美國用的條件會比台灣用的"巧")
如果真是如此，媒體喜歡用CNN的預測就稍沒意義些
