陳建仁院士 3月21日演講(文教中心) - 華盛頓

The Distinguished Research Fellow of Academia Sinica from Taiwan,
Professor Chien-Jen Chen, will be giving a speech on
“Current Status and Perspectives of Biomedical Industry in Taiwan”
on Saturday, March 21st, at 10:30 AM,
in Culture Center of TECRO, Gaithersburg, Maryland.
The speech will encompass the current status of the biomedical
industry in Taiwan, as well as challenges and its future development.

Dr. Chen was minister of the National Science Council, and
the Department of Health, Dean of College of Public Health
at National Taiwan University. Dr. Chen graduated from
Johns Hopkins University majoring in Genetic Epidemiology.

This event is free for anyone interested. A Q&A section will follow

台灣前國科會主委、衛生署署長、台大公共衛生學院院長，
現任職中央研究院基因體研究中心之中研院院士陳建仁教授
即將於3月21日(星期六) 上午10時30分假華府華僑文教中心，
就「台灣生物醫藥產業之現況與願景」(Current Status and
Perspectives of Biomedical Industry in Taiwan) 為題舉行一場演講，
內容包括台灣生物醫藥產業的現況、面臨的挑戰、未來發展的方向與展望等，

陳建仁教授自台大公共衛生研究所畢業後，
負笈美國獲約翰霍普金斯大學流行病學博士學位，
曾任台灣國科會主委、衛生署署長，亦為中央研究院院士。
陳院士對台灣生物醫藥產業有深入之瞭解，演講精彩可期。
